92 Gabriel Landeskog
2012-2013 Seventeenth Season
Reebok Edge 2.0 Airknit. Set 2. 58
MGG No. JH01937
This jersey shows good overall wear, especially in the lower front body. There are about half a dozen larger black marks below the crest. The sleeves each have repairs in the burgundy fabric near the elbows, as well as a few light burns in the lower sleeves. There is a small unrepaired hole just above the numbers on the left sleeve. The left cuff displays a black mark which provides the photomatch from Getty #167441528. The Captain's C is sewn to the left chest, and the size tag is marked with "II", presumably to designate set 2. The jersey is accompanied by the team/MGG LOA.

Gabriel Landeskog was born on November 23, 1992 in Stockholm, Sweden. A star junior in his homeland, he became one of the youngest players ever to compete in the Swedish Elite League when he suited up as a 16-year-old for Djurgårdens IF in 2009.
Landeskog made his North American debut in the Ontario Hockey League for the Kitchener Rangers during the 2009-10 season and immediately impressed, finishing the year third among OHL rookie scorers.
On October 24, 2010, Landeskog was named captain of the Kitchener Rangers, the first European captain in franchise history. The following summer he was selected by the Colorado Avalanche as the second overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Landeskog made the jump directly from the junior ranks to the bright ligths of the NHL for the 2011-12 season and would excel in his first professional campaign. Landeskog led the Avalanche with 22 goals and tied with Ryan Nugent Hopkins as the league's top rookie scorer. For his efforts, in the summer of 2012 Landeskog was awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's top rookie.
On September 4, 2012, Landeskog was named captain of the Colorado Avalanche. At just 19 years and 286 days, he surpassed Sidney Crosby as the youngest captain in NHL history.
