Eddie's Jersey Room

Identification Adidas "ADIZERO" jersey with Adidas logo sewn on rear collar. The shoulder yoke material is the dimpled pattern unique to the Adidas jerseys. The Colorado team set tag is sewn in rear hem with registration number. Collar does not have a size tag; the size information is printed on the inside collar band. Wash tag shows "Made in Canada".

General This is the first season that Adidas has served as the NHL jersey supplier. With this change comes some changes in the general construction and fabrics. For the Avalanche specifically, there are a number of style changes to the design:

1. The jagged hem and sleeve stripe design present in the jerseys through the mid 2000s has been brought back. It was removed on the Reebok Edge jerseys.
2. A new font is being used for the numbers. The numbers are now two color, instead of three color, and are no longer made of the "glacier twill" fabric.
3. The body piping is now a single color, instead of two color.
4. The main body of the "A" in the crest is now fabric, not twill.

Manufacturer Beginning in 2017-2018, Adidas is the manufacturer and supplier of the jerseys.

NHL Centennial Patch This patch (a continuation of the previous season) was worn on the first set of jerseys only.

NHL Global Series/Sweden Patch* The team wore a special set of jerseys fitted with a commemorative patch for the two-game series in Stockholm versus Ottawa on November 10-11, 2017. There was one burgundy set and one white set, each worn one game, which are not part of the set 1 group.
